The Treasurer has turned off the auto-pilot and is making an in-flight announcement on the economy. Jim Chalmers has declared he's lining up Australia for "a soft landing on a narrow runway." But with inflation still too high and the cost of living out of control, Mr Chalmers says he's cautiously confident of achieving a very tricky touchdown.
