The New South Wales Government have announced it will finally strengthen the Food and Grocery Code of Conduct. The changes will make the code mandatory for all the big supermarkets and slap them with hefty fines of up to $10M for any breaches which means suppliers should be protected from unreasonable price increases and corporate retribution.
