Young Jim Morrison was a highly intelligent navy brat, who moved often and was fascinated with reading and writing, particularly poetry. As a teen, he began to rebel against his father's strict discipline, and this rebelliousness would continue throughout the rest of his life as singer, poet and icon of 1960's counter culture. But there was a darkness inside the sex symbol and rock god and earned for himself the title as The Lizard King.
