Mama Bear noticed that the soft cushion on her middle-size chair had been squatted down. “Someone has been sitting in my chair!” she exclaimed in in her medium growly voice.

And then Baby Bear called out in despair: “Somebody has been sitting in my chair, and has broken it!” in his small, squeaky voice.
Then the Three Bears thought it necessary that they should make farther search; so they went upstairs into their bedchamber.

Papa Bear saw immediately that the pillow on his high, great big bed had been moved. “Somebody has been lying in my bed!” said Papa Bear, in his great, rough, gruff voice.

And Goldilocks had ruffled the covers of the low, medium-size bed. “Somebody has been lying in my bed!” growled Mama Bear in her medium voice.

Then Baby Bear yelled out with great surprise: “Somebody has been lying in my bed – and here she is!” in his small, squeaky voice.
