Occupational Therapy is very much a tribute to John Singleton and Alan Thicke, both who came into my life in different ways, both who are no longer with us, both who gave me sage advice as collaborators, friends and as entrepreneurs. Telling their stories is a way for me to share the advice that masters of their fields have shared with me.
This intro podcast is an overview of Occupational Therapy and what I set out to do while outlining the curriculum for this Quarantine Masterclass. This project started as small thought -- how was I going to transition from one career to the next when I invested so much emotionally and physically into being Jingle Jared CEO and founder of Jingle Punks? I had wrapped so much of my life in the identity of being this person, over time I failed to understand that I had so much more to offer.
I decided to go back to the beginning and begin talking with people who have met who have also gone on from one successful career to the next and sometimes even more than just 2 hyphens in their careers.
My observations have been that adaptability, perseverance, creativity, and the will to change is a skill set that's gonna be even more important when we enter into this new post-pandemic economy. This season of the podcast will feature some great conversations. I hope you enjoy.
