SAVING KIDS & INSPIRING US ALL

Dedicating your life to helping find a cure for childhood cancer as an adult is admirable... at 15 years old it's a miracle! And we thank God for this miracle everyday!

Jordan Belous, better known to all of the kids and families she helps as "JJ", officially launched Whip Pediatric Cancer in 2015 at fifteen years old after years of helping kids with cancer. Now at twenty years old, JJ brings smiles to every kid she meets and has raised over $400,000 to help find a cure. Whip Pediatric Cancer is a 501c3 foundation dedicated to bringing awareness and raising funds to help kids beat childhood cancer.

JJ's mother, Victoria Belous, was diagnosed and treated for cancer when JJ was just two years old. Victoria was treated as an adult on the pediatric floor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York. Once Victoria finished treatment, she continued visiting the hospital and all of the kids, and of course would always bring JJ along. JJ was drawn to the kids and at the age of seven began raising money to help them. It wasn't much, but it was the thought that counted and a fire was lit that is still burning bright today.

JJ is twenty years old and currently a Junior at the University of Tampa where she's majoring in Allied Health with a concentration in Physical Therapy. She has plans to one day work at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital.

Jay and Kara had the awesome privilege of getting to know JJ this past year while their daughter, Hunter Rose Jones, was enrolled in a cancer vaccine trial at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York. Hunter Rose is doing great (for more on Hunter Rose click here) and has become close friends with JJ and her family.
