Off We Go

As the plane taxis down the runway.

It gives me butterflies to fly.

Off we go. We lift into the sky.

I get to feeling better as the time passes by.

You grip my hand and say, It’s OK.

When you tease and giggle, I believe.

Rest your head upon my shoulder, dear.

We make a beeline for the coast. The time for feeling better’s near.
