In the Bible, God has made promises over every area of life. Faith is our claim of those promises. From there, we say, or declare, those promises are reality. In speaking these things as facts we don't just let life happen, but we create our futures based on God's word. As parents, we speak these promises, or blessings, over our children so that their lives will have God's hand upon them. Blessings are spread by what we say and this is true throughout all aspects of life.
