A lot of developers want to create a startup or work for a startup... or work for a startup then start a startup. You get the point... startups are often viewed as the "golden ticket".
But, I try to provide little sobriety...
Because... numbers vary... but, 60-90% of startups fail. There's nothing worse than investing all your time and energy into something, banking on it being your future and then it falls out from underneath you.
Sure, it can be an adventure.
But, some of you have families. You can't afford an adventure. And, you still have to put a roof over your head and food in your belly. So, it's important to know what you're getting into and plan a solid future.
