Hello, my friends, my life warriors! How are we doing today? I hope you are rocking this day like a rockstar baby!

Today on the podcast I was delighted to have Joan & Jane The Therapy Twins, Joan Landino & Jane Buckley are the Therapy Twins. Identical twin sisters, (former psychiatric providers) & lifelong seekers who use their own brand of humour & vulnerability to tell revealing stories about their childhood, family, marriages, divorces, dating, motherhood & work history. Its mission is to Break the Stigma of Mental Illness & help people LOVE MORE, FEAR LESS.

Joan and Jane say that we all have a tiger biting at our heels – the tiger of trauma. No matter who you are or how you were raised, trauma is part of your experience. The Therapy Twins want everyone to know that the only way to heal the trauma is to face it, name it, and then move past it with forgiveness and compassion, for yourself and everyone around you.

For Joan and Jane, life is all about humour and heart. As twins, they know each other better than most people know themselves. Part of their intimate connection is a sense of humour that’s become their secret sauce in living happier lives. Laughter is disarming. It’s heart-opening. When we’re smiling, we can look at our pain with honesty and love, and soften the ground for real change.

We talked about a number of things including why they became psychiatric entertainers, also how Therapy has changed over the years and so much more.
