According to her twitter feed, Joan is a writer, lawyer, mom, and Chicago native transplanted to Alaska about 20 years ago. That about covers it, although her husband would probably like her to add wife. Because she’s the kind of person who never gives up, she’s still waiting on a Cubs World Series Championship. She has been hard at work on The Book of Timothy, A Sister’s Pursuit, a journey of faith and the pursuit of justice—a book that should be out in the world sometime next year, just about the time the Cub’s clinch the pennant.
