Nothing stands in the way of Joanne Elvin and her daughter fulfilling her lifelong dream of helping all the dogs she can - not even the demands of family life, multiple sclerosis or a rare and painful condition known as Behçets disease.

Joanne and Nina, from Norfolk, have loved dogs all of her life, in particular, Pomeranians. From a young age, Joanne has helped dogs in need and for years she has been re-homing Pomeranians and assisting owners with the care of their dogs. In January this year, Joanne set up Pomeranians for Life, which has been so well received she has now been invited by the Kennel Club to London’s biggest dog event, Discover Dogs, this November to promote her work and that of other breed rescues throughout the UK.rd.
