Today's reading picks up where we ended yesterday with Job's continued response. Zophar's short, tempered, arrogant response to Job. Finally, Job confesses God is in control and pleas for God to relent and let him die in peace. Job also maintains that he will still trust in Him and will continue hoping in God; he also maintains that God is wrong and begs for God to contend with him. We claim that God is in control and yet we also claim that life is unfair. So who are we trusting is in control? Do we actually think that God is working it all for our good and His glory? I pray that we will all repent from our half-hearted commitment and go all in. That we will fully acknowledge and rest in His providence--His intentional governing of the cosmos.

Let us carry out Christ into the world as we live our lives and as we have been graciously been saved, let us proclaim the goodness of the Almighty. To him be the glory! Amen!
