Today's reading covers Job continuing his response to Eliphaz from chapter twenty-three. Bildad's final speech, a systematic comparison of God's holiness and man's depravity. Chapter twenty-seven begins Job's final set of speeches. He ends chapter twenty-eight by declaring that wisdom is found in the fear of Yahweh and by fleeing sin. Do we actually believe that wisdom is solely found in God? Are we living as if we can only obtain wisdom in fearing Yahweh or do we live believing we can obtain it through something in ourself?

Let us carry out Christ into the world as we live our lives and as we have been graciously been saved, let us proclaim the goodness of the Almighty. To him be the glory! Amen!
