The Gospel shows us how serious the consequences of our sin are: Jesus had to die a painful death on a cross to bear our sin. It's not enough, therefore, to live a basically good and moral life. Everybody needs forgiveness and salvation offered only in Jesus. Come to him to find life, peace and lasting joy.
