Tension at the GW Zoo begins to rise as Jeff Lowe comes in and fires half of the staff and brings in Allen Glover, who Joe Exotic is not able to get along with. Joe introduces Jeff to James Garretson, strip club and bar owner, and gives him $14,000 to open a pizza shop within the Zoo grounds using meats from the Walmart donation trucks. While the dynamics at the Zoo are changing, Joe decides to run for President, and when that fails, Governor. In the meantime, Joe's marriages begin to unravel. John Finlay leaves Joe for the receptionist he got pregnant, while Travis Maldonado shots himself on the GW Zoo property. Two months after Joe mourns the death of Travis, he gets married to Dillon Passage with Travis' mom in attendance. Jeff finally heads back to Vegas where he starts taking animals on party buses in the city, as Joe is left to take care of the Zoo.
