Interview: JOE O’GORMAN: Joe is an on course bookmaker who has been in the game since the 1980’s, working for his father and grandfather as a tic-tac at Walthamstow. He would go onto take over the pitch in the mid 1990’s, standing there until the track’s closure in 2008, and then moving onto Harlow in the same year. O’Gorman has also stood at Aintree, Ascot, Brighton, Chelmsford, Cheltenham, Epsom, Fontwell, both Newmarket courses, Plumpton, Sandown, Windsor and will soon be on course when allowed back.
