First of all, he's hilarious and he's one of the kindest human beings I know. 

Joel Haslam celebrates 33 years of storytelling in the television business; one that can be dismissive of the importance of stories focused on the human spirit. Joel's jam is holding space for people; allowing them to share themselves to inspire us in some way. 

The long list of awards Joel has been given for his work is a testament to his skills and validation for the values he holds so dear.
