Ever found yourself sitting across from someone thinking "we do NOT see the world the same way"? Ever been tempted to look down on that person? Label them a "deviant", a "fool", "sinner" or perhaps even "evil"? Maybe more to the point, have you ever looked at yourself and thought "I do not live up to the person I want to be"? Have you ever labelled yourself "pathetic", "loser", or "worthless"? Or maybe other people have slapped those labels on you? When Jesus dines with a man with labels ("tax collector!" "sinner!") the people aren't happy...but what happens next is utterly transformative - and we are invited into the journey both for others AND for ourselves.
