Yallllllll i am SO excited to share this episode with you. This week's guest is the Creator , Writer and Director of the show Transparent on Amazon video. Their name is Joey Soloway and they are an amazing Non-Binary individual. Joey shares their gender journey and talks about what it was like to navigate all of those feelings while directing a show that talks immensely about Transness. Transparent has won a Golden Globe award and Joey personally won 2 Emmys for the show. On top of all of that, Transparent was also turned into a musical. “A Transparent Musical”. Joey talks about what the process was like working on a musical compared to a TV show, and what it was like to work with so many talented people throughout all of it. The musical is hoped to come to Broadway in 2024! I truly enjoyed speaking with Joey and learning more about their life as well as Transparent. I know you will enjoy it too.
