The Temple in Johannesburg is surely an answer to prayer, but it also sets up the foundation for the future of the church in Africa. As the first temple in Africa it was the most geographically remote temple for many years. And it was the furthest from Salt Lake City in the world.

We are grateful for the history of the Saints in this area, and we are more excited for the future of the church as missionary work takes off, we are sure the future holds miracles across that great continent!
