Season 1 (The Gospel of John), Episode 32 (John 10:1-18) I Am The Good Shepherd: Old Testament References

Welcome to Gospel Unscripted, where we have unscripted conversations as we read through the Gospels.  Happy New Year!  Today we begin reading John 10 and look back into the Psalms and Prophets at the way God describes himself as the Good Shepherd of the Israelites.  We believe the text in the Prophets not only points to Jesus, but that Jesus' statements are directly referring back to the scriptures when He speaks to the Jewish leaders in John 10.
