We had the privilege of hearing from Pastor Jesús Rodríguez. Pastor Jesús has been part of the Redemption Hill family since 2012. After completing an 18-month Church Planting Residency, he moved to his hometown, Mexico City, in February 2014. He lives there with his wife Karla and four kids: Joel, Luciana, Sophia, and Caleb. They have worked to plant a church in the heart of Mexico City. In January 2016 Doxa, Iglesia Cristiana, held its first public services. Since then, people have been saved and baptized, a new community has formed, and the gospel is bearing fruit in Mexico City through them. Pastor Jesús updated us on the work in Mexico City and Doxa. He preached from John 10:1-21. In this text, we see that Jesus is the Good Shepherd, who laid His life down for His sheep. It shows us the beauty and inclusivity of the gospel.
