Jesus told the Jewish skeptics that they could believe what He said because He did the works of His Father. Those works showed Jesus was in the Father, and the Father in Him. If we claim to be followers of Christ, we should have godly work too. We are not saved by what we do, but what we do should show that we know Jesus. It's all part of God's plan for the ages.
