As religious leaders question John’s identity, he refuses to draw attention to himself and instead points entirely to Christ. He declares Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.

This passage anchors our faith not in who we are, but in who Jesus is. When we rightly see Him as both Savior and Son, it reshapes our identity, our worship, and our mission.

Like John, we are called to step out of the spotlight and bear witness to the One who is greater.
