The presence of God is something that cannot be replaced. Many people try to seek fulfillment outside of the presence of God or try to attain the promises of God without his presence. In comparing the Old Covenant with the New Covenant, we find that God will grant us his presence and his promises when we choose to follow him and be a disciple.
