Over the past several weeks, we have read and studied about the life of Jesus as an overview. Last week, we asked the question, the Savior is born…now what? 
This baby that was named Jesus, who came from Heaven, to save people from their sins, cf: John 1:14 The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. 
Jesus lived a perfect life and died a criminal's death… all because He offered people a gift—eternal life. cf: John 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 
The question is not how is Jesus the only way to God, but the real question is— “Why did God chose to give us one way at all?” He offered to pay for their sins— Himself. 
And not only did people reject His gift of eternal life, but murdered Him because of it.
