•Remember the parable of the talents.

•The faithful were rewarded with influence.

•The master said, “Enter the joy of your master.”

•The joy of the master was all about AUTHORITY.

•He had authority and now he granted it to them.

•The key to having Christ’s authority is to abide in Him.

•We abide in Him through commitment to Him.

•He abides in us as we get His Word into our hearts.

•vs 15 - when we abide in Him we are not servants anymore, He calls us friends.

•Nothing is more joyful than walking in authority.
