John 16 - Do You Want to Overcome the World?

Jesus’ death and resurrection defeats “the prince of this world.”

As he leaves, the Spirit will come and guide the disciples into truth.

Jesus encourages them with the following: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
