John 17:4-5

The Son Glorified the Father on earth. (v.4)

The Father Glorifies the Son in his presence. (v.5)

In the beginning was the Word. (John 1:1-3 & 14)

The Son desires that you would see his glory. (John 17:24)

The thing that we most need today is to behold a glorious Jesus.

‘On earth.’—This phrase signifies that Christ did not increase God’s essential glory, for that is incapable of any addition; his nature is infinite, and cannot be made more glorious and excellent; but only that Christ manifested his glory more fully to the world.

Romans 8:15-17

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
