That You May Believe | The Gospel of John || Through the Gospels we see that Peter was passionate about following Jesus, Jesus predicted his failure, and Jesus prayed for the disciples to be kept from the evil one, specifically praying that Peter’s faith wouldn’t fail. In this passage, we see both the hearing of Jesus before the Jewish High Priest and Peter’s failure as a witness. A sobering moment, but not a hopeless one.
