Lots of lessons in this portion of John's Gospel. First, the danger of becoming lost in religion and traditions, to the point where we forget about knowing Jesus and loving His people. Then, Pastor Mat explains that while it is through Scripture that we know the mind of God, it is only through prayer that we know the heart of God.
