In turning the water into wine, Jesus shows us that He will 1) Do ministry on His own time table even it if means conflict with family ties, 2) has power over the molecular and chemical makeup and 3) replaces the Old Testament externals with the internal washing that results in abundant joy. He manifests His glory in suprising ways so that we can fully trust Him.
