When Jesus Christ was speaking to the Samaritan woman, he said something very important: "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24).  

What did Jesus Christ mean by that? Why was he reminding the Samaritan woman that God wasn't a human being, but is an invisible, spirit being? Hope do we worship such a being in spirit and in truth? What does that all mean, and what is its purpose?
