So many of us would admit that it is easy to know things about the Bible without knowing the God of the Bible. But if we truly believe the words we read, then we will find Jesus there. Knowing Jesus will forever change the way we read the Scriptures, see the people around us, and how we practice our very faith. Will you heed the call of the Savior to not merely pour over the Scriptures but to know Jesus of the Scripture? To believe in him is where true hope is found, true life. In fact our only hope for life, everlasting life.
