But still, many left Christ later on when they began to understand what was required in a life of service to God. Miracles weren't enough to keep them - they continually needed more.

It's the same for us - miracles can lead us to Christ, but for faith to endure it needs something much deeper. A genuine belief in God and His son Jesus Christ. Miracles are a benefit - not the main event.
