The Feast of Booth was a significant festival for first century Jews. This feast used light and water as significant symbols. Jesus played off of those to illustrate the invitation He was making for all of us to come and “Thirst no more.” For those who are hopeless and spiritually dry, overflowing life can be found in Christ.
