Welcome to this week’s worship service!

In today’s message, we continue our journey through the Gospel of John as Jesus speaks a powerful truth about what it means to truly follow Him:

“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31–32)

This conversation unfolds in the Temple as Jesus confronts a crowd confident in their own heritage yet blind to their spiritual bondage. He exposes the reality of sin’s grip and offers freedom that only He—the Son—can provide.

📖 In John 8:31–36, we learn:
- True discipleship means holding fast to Jesus’ teaching
- Knowing the truth leads to genuine freedom
- Sin enslaves those who surrender to it
- Only the Son has the authority to set us free—free indeed
