In John 9:1-17, Jesus and his disciples encounter a man who was born blind. The disciples ask Jesus whether the man's blindness was a result of his own sin or his parents' sin. Jesus responds that neither is the case, and that the man's condition is an opportunity for the work of God to be displayed. Jesus then proceeds to heal the blind man by spitting on the ground, making mud, and applying it to the man's eyes. After washing in the pool of Siloam, the man is able to see. What do you choose to see? Is Jesus just a good man or an insightful prophet? Or do you see Him as your Lord and Savior?
