To celebrate this July 4 we re-watched the HBO miniseries on John Adams. This is a fabulous show and should not be missed. We discuss the circumstances that led to the revolution and Declaration of Independence and how the US differs from other countries and other forms of government. The unique characteristics of the country include how power is arranged and balanced.
