For over 60 years, John Bandimere Jr. was the driving force behind the successful Bandemere Speedway team as the second generation owner and operator of the quarter mile, dragstrip, founded by his parents west of Denver.  Originally called the Safty proving Grounds of America and built as a location for testing the limits of the automobile in a safe environment, especially for young people, the NHRA sanctioned speedway was known as “ Thunder Mountain”.  The mountain went quiet in 2024 as the Bandimere family made the decision to sell the iconic foothills location.  John’s most recent title has been CSO-chief spiritual officer- a unique title that gives him the ability to cultivate significant relationships with those he meets.
