I had already uploaded a song using this idea/theme. Sometimes when I have what I think is a decent idea but have issues getting some lyrics together, I seek some help. With this theme I sought help from Suno. I took one of the offered sets of lyrics and completely rewrote the lyrics to keep the lyrics in my own style (I think |I do have a style of writiing) and then used the rewritten lyrics in the song, "I remember you saying goodbye). A song which I really feel good about.

However, I kept looking at the other lyrics and thinking, this would have made a great country number. Nearly a week later, I succumbed and decided to just see what it might sound like. By this time I had got so used to the lyric, I did not think I could better it. So here it is, based on my original idea (if any ideas for song titles can be said to be original these days) BUT the lyrics are those from Suno. I do not usually accept lyrics from AI without a lot of rewriting, but this is an exception I have come to enjoy. Hope you like it and can forgive me just this once.

I was playing around with this remix/cover and noticed that This uploaded track, although completely instrumental, had acquired a lyric due to the AI translating some sounds into vocal sounds. I removed the lyric for most of the iterations except for one, which was a Cool Jazz genre. Again some vocal sounds could be heard. I tried to follow this up by creating another iteration based on a barber shop quartet AND simply sliced the two tracks and stitched them together again in Audacity.

Making no claims, but I had to like it, they simply seemed to go together so well - for me. Hope you can enjoy this little experiment as much as I do.

This track, as all on this playlist/album, is a Suno cover of a song written an realised by John Dyhouse. The original was arranged and recorded from ACID FORGE, maybe late 80's/early 90's. I used this app on my son's computer to generate by adding samples to a "piano roll". I used it for about 2 weeks and produced 12 tracks. But it was a very slow process - too slow for me, and I never used it again. However, I kept the tracks (recorded digitally) with all other musical memorabilia from my song writing hobby.

The original was in no particular genre, but as I was experimenting with samples (from a note to a riff) from electronic music, closest is probably EDM. Suno was prompted for this particular track:- EDM/Rock Blues.

This was a complete accident...

I had been toying with a song title for several days but just couldn't get anywhere ; I had written a number of versions (quite different) of a first verse BUT never seemed to get much further. I thought that maybe an idea from Suno may help but started to write a prompt with a genre (country rock) and the thought , "will this appear on the lyric?". I decided to erase it but accidentally hit the generate lyric button. Two wets of lyrics appeared as if by magic (very quickly anyway). I started to begin again, however I scanned the lyrics - one I quickly got rid of but the other seemed to have some merit. After a couple of hours of hard editing with RhymeZone open on the lap top, I ended up with this lyric. Not my usual fare but after several iterations I decided on this version, actually one of the first. I liked it and decided to upload this instead of the one I had meant to write, that will wait another day. Hope you like it!

And also... for subjecting my listeners to another "mashup" using the new Suno Feature. Have been experimenting and this seems to give even less control that normal. I wanted to create the mashup with a fairly slow love song (Baubles,Blue skies ....) an electronic keyboard piece from my past, called Blue Me. The latter being an instrumental. Maybe, Suno needs compatible tracks to create the mashup. Anyway, the AI ignored the lyrics of the song and, just used some og the wonderfully melodic guitar solos. But it created a monster - for me, anyway. The tempo was faster than either of the individual tracks, so much so, I had to reduce it by 75%. This cooled things down just a little and I loved it. It's not me, but I love what Suno has done with my music. Hope you can bear to listen long enough to hear those guitar solos.

Couldn't resist trying out this new feature on Suno (Beta at the moment). It is very like a cover, but actually weaves the (two) songs together, a very definite step towards a little creativity. For this experiment, I used two songs I had previously put through Suno. A blues vocal (my lyrics) with a gypsy jazz instrumental. I must admit, I rather like the result. Not sure how often I would use this feature, except for an occasional bit of fun. The original blues number can be found on sound cloud. In any case, hope you like it.

A very disappointing track for me, I started off, looking to do a "rock" number, but it was a very noisy track and the AI did not sing the words as written. Often A few iterations with some editing of the prompt led to improvements; but on this track the AI seemed to to do everything wrong and the track got worse and worse. In desperation after using "mucho credits" I though, "well a blues with just a vocal, guitar and harmonica must be better, but the AI seemed to have a memory of the worst issues. I did make some significant edits to the lyrics and the lines are finally scanned as I intended. However, the sound quality still seems to be very poor. I have posted this here because I am writing as a bobby, and this is a record of this song. I am not after perfect quality as I do not monetise the music at all.

So forgive the poor sound quality (assuming it is not just me) and maybe you can listen and enjoy the song.

I have them every so often - as a lyricist, I find I can't find times when I can't get an idea with sparkle; something which gives me the urge to write. I am in the throes of such a time just at the moment. I was thinking about the covers I had been working on and was simply out of ideas for a new lyric. And then DING; what about something with a loose vocalisation. After a few attempts, covers, etc, this dropped out. I liked it. So here is my newest upload, a jazzy little number featuring a female trio, making music without any planned lyrics. Maybe you might like the happy little number as much as I do.
