John Flaherty works at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, serving as director of liturgy and music, teaching in the Center for Religion and Spirituality, and participating on the campus ministry team. He has been involved in music and educational ministry for 25 years as an educator, elementary school principal, music director, liturgy director, and composer, and has served as music director and chairman of the liturgy committee for the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress since 1991.
