All roads seem to be pointing towards a future that includes autonomous vehicles. It’s good news for Waymo, a self-driving tech company that’s owned by Alphabet – the Fortune 500 company that also owns Google. The C-E-O of Waymo, John Krafcik, joined Fortune this month at an event in Las Vegas. He said his company is exploring many applications for driverless tech – from ride hailing to commercial trucking.
