John Kriesel is a Military veteran who served in the Minnesota National Guard.  His combat career was abruptly ended when the vehicle he was in struck a roadside bomb while on a patrol in Iraq.  Tragically he lost two of his closest friends in the attack.  He also suffered near fatal injuries with the loss of his legs and numerous other injuries.  He tells the surreal story of that horrific moment and the minutes, hours and days after of him clinging to life.  John recovered and with a new perspective on life he went back into public service but this time as a State Representative where he represented district 57A.  He then chronicled his life-changing experience in a book called Still Standing.  He uses his experience as an agent for change and inspiration as a public speaker going around the Country motivating the masses.  If you're interested in booking John, please find him here: https://www.johnmkriesel.com/
