Elsewhere Stephen Carr has the season of the lifetime to make the PFA team of the year and Robbie Keane has begun his Spurs story. Internationally Mick McCarthy steps down from the Republic of Ireland shortly into the Euro 2004 campaign to be replaced by Brian Kerr. The FAI and Scottish FA are also shaping up to try and host Euro 2008. What could possibly go wrong!??
