Mr. Perkins was baptized in September of 1979 at the University Church of Christ. John entered into ministry 20 years ago as a deacon here at Englewood Church of Christ. Mr. Perkins then stepped up to serve as an elder seven years ago. Mr. Perkins has attended classes at Bear Valley School of Biblical Studies.
