We listened to John Thill's Greatest Hits Volume 2, no there was no volume 1 that we know of. For some reason we both have become a tiny bit obsessed with Mr Thill. He has the right amount of tragedy, comedy and sincerity with a four track or just tape deck and a guitar. Recording wherever the hell he happens to be, he rises above where most open mic performers wallow. Great LP art and the liner notes on the reverse are almost the best part of this release - we try to read them all.
