Johnny is a Kinsale fisherman who went to The Gambia to sample what life on the West Coast of Africa is like, as well as getting the opportunity to fish and spend time with the locals and living with them, in places such as Tanji. Johnny also sees how reliant they are on fishing to make a living, by catching “Yaboi” in wooden boats, and how trawlers from other countries are putting that in jeopardy.
