We have just finished the Gospel of John and now we proceed to more Revelation literally. The continuation of which now leads us to the Epistles of First, Second, and Third John. We also finish with the Epistle of Jude. All of which bring a life manifest in a growing church in the Roman Kingdom. Surrounded by false prophets, unbelievers, radicalized enemies who will stop at nothing to destroy them; these epistles form the beginning of the book of Revelation to which we will proceed after these studies.

Moreover, in this we find that John said to those he wrote that “we have heard, we have seen with our eyes, we have looked upon, and our hands have handled of the Word of Life.” Seeing is believing, and thus this epistle is now written to us! Jude warns of men who have crept into the church of believers and even deny the Lord himself and his Father. Individuals who bring not the Apostles doctrine nor Gospel the Lord had given them. These were the deceivers, people headed into perdition. Jude exhorts them to contend for the true faith here.

1Jn 1:1-9(1)  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;(2)  (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)(3)  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.(4)  And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
